Our extended dry stretch is finally over, and we're getting some much-needed rain to close out the workweek!A slow-moving cold front is crossing the region, bringing periods of moderate to heavy rain, especially through midday. Temperatures started out unusually mild, with readings in the 60s, and highs will reach the upper 60s this afternoon. Dewpoints in the upper 50s and lower 60s will make the air feel noticeably more humid than it has recently, but much drier air is waiting behind the front.Wet roads, reduced visibility and occasional downpours could slow travel, particularly along Interstate 95 and across South Jersey. Rainfall totals will vary considerably, with around a tenth to three-quarters of an inch north and west, but another .5"+ inches are possible along I-95, South Jersey and Delmarva.
